Unlike conventional semi-displacement hulls or planing hulls there is no awkward speed to avoid. So pick your favorite speed and set your throttle!

Keelform Hull Design:
The hull design of the Camano 31 is unique and well-regarded for its stability, seaworthiness, and efficiency. The deep, hollow v-shaped keel provides about 25% of the hull's displacement, and above displacement speeds helps lift the stern so that water runs cleanly off the transom, thus maintaining a more linear speed-fuel relationship up to 17 knots. An additional benefit of the Keelform hull is that the engine is mounted in the keel, lowering the center of gravity. The boat heels very little even in tight turns. The owners speak of its stable performance in difficult sea conditions and its fuel efficiency, especially at speeds from 10 - 15 knots that are difficult for planing or displacement hulls of this size.

Pronounced bow flair keeps the spray down and makes for a dryer boat.

Prop and rudder are protected by a skeg.

The exceptionally large window area is subdivided into enough segments that structural rigidity is maintained.

Solid, hand-laid fiberglass below the waterline, with foam coring above the waterline. The windlass and deck fixtures are backed with metal backing plates.

Extensive sound-deadening insulation is used in the cabin floor, making the boat unusually quiet in operation.

The Camano 31 has list of features that aren't commonly found on other pocket trawlers. It has a spacious flybridge with 3 pedestal seats - each with a panoramic view. There is room on the flybridge to store extra gear or coolers if you choose. The cockpit has high gunwhales for safety and a transom door for ease of boarding. The cockpit is great for fishing or enjoying the view from a deck chair.
Enter the saloon through the sturdy door, and you may be surprised to find more interior space that you would expect. The optional teak and holly sole gives the interior a warm, inviting feeling and the 360 degree windows let in plenty of natural light. On the portside is a built-in L-shaped dinette that converts to a double berth. You can see out the saloon windows while seated at the dinette - which is an important design that many other manufacturers overlook. The lower helm is on the starboard side - it has good visibility because of its forward location and many owners use it as their primary helm. To save space, Camano provided a folding helm seat that can be stored out of the way when you want more saloon space at your destination.

Down two steps and to the portside is the fully equipped galley. It features a refrigerator/freezer combo, built in microwave, dual stainless sink, and propane stove/oven.

Across from the galley is the head/shower compartment. The head is electric flush, and the shower head pulls out from the sink.

Forward of the head and galley is the V-berth. It has 6'5" of sleeping room and comfortably accommodates two adults.

A perfect cruiser for a couple or small family with sleeping for 4.

Broker's Comments

Wow! This Camano 31 is as close to "new" as I have ever seen. It has only 119 hours and moored in freshwater for the last 2 years.
This Camano has the upgraded optional teak and holly sole providing a classic nautical look that adds a warmth and inviting feeling to the saloon.
This boat is spotless inside and out -- clear indication of a meticulous owner. It has seen such light use that the stove/oven has never been used and the anchor has never touched the water. It is well-outfitted and ready to go cruising now with Webasto diesel heat, inverter, Raymarine E-80 radar/chartplotter, autopilot, windlass, inflatable dinghy and more. With its Keelform hull, it will run higher out of the water for a smoother ride than other boats of its size. The compact design puts big boat features into a 31' package resulting in lower moorage costs without compromising comfort and functionality. If you are in the market you must see vessel!
Recent MAJOR price reduction makes this a "steal" of a deal!
