Construction

Construction Composite
Underwater profile Multihull
Finish Gelcoat finish

Construction is vacuum-bagged and epoxy impregnated E-glass sandwich, with carbon fiber reinforcement in high-stress areas, the vessel is designed to be virtually unsinkable, with watertight bulkheads in each bow, as well as bulkheads separating the engine rooms from the living quarters.
Owner says:
She was made over a female mold with foam core and infused epoxy resin, with carbon reinforcements. It’s still the gold standard today for light boat construction. The naval architects Morelli and Melvin’s resume speaks for its self and they would of spent a lot of time coming up with the perfect balance on the laminate schedule.
9t light displacement
12t with bunkers
15t fully loaded with a years worth of surfing and fishing gear food etc, still sitting on her mean water line and in trim.
The twin sacrificial keels can be weight bearing in conjunction with acroprops etc. I wouldn’t be comfortable drying out on a beach given the rudder and sail drives, however with air bags etc it is possible and the keels would provide some support.
