		<title>Bruce Roberts 45 REF#350476</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 169 extra photos of this Bruce Roberts 45 .Boatshed Norfolk are please to offer this amazing Bruce Roberts wave runner 45 Steel cruiser. This is an unusual boat in that Its build was started new in 1984 by Brian Chater and a steel and pipe company to be an offshore charter fishing vessel in north west England. Bruce Roberts steel boat designs are effectively steel kit self build vessels. Once complete the builder changed directions and the boat was sold new to the current owner who moved it to the broads by truck and placed it on his mooring. There it has stayed to this day and has been used as a liveaboard until his passing recently. The boat has not moved in that time but has been regularly run up and shows 1600 hours of engine time in that 40 years but actually never left the dock. When built the boat had a large generator also fitted that never had the electrical side connected up and that too has been run up from time to time but is effectively zero house use. In effect its an unused well built vessel that has engine time but never left the dock and was used as a home.
The boat is vast and would make a great cruiser or even more impressive and roomy liveaboard home. She is impressively wide and this is evident from anywhere you are on or in the vessel. the space is just amazing and the layout is comfortable and flexible with a good size double in the bow with its own vanity and basin plus ample storage, large heads and shower compartment to port, single cabin to port and a large galley down arrangement with full size fridge freezer electric hob, oven grill and microwave and loads of storage. Stepping up to the enormous saloon with integrated lower helm station lots of storage cupboards and fantastic visibility from the large windows. Out aft is a huge aft cockpit that is all teak laid with both side and stern access, and access ladder the capacious flybridge. The boat has to be seen to be appreciated in its true scale . Under the floor are twin Iveco diesel engines rated at 180hp each and they appear to start and run effortlessly. The bilge is clean and dry. It is to be advised that as these engines have only been doc run they should be serviced and have the rubber hoses replaced before use as rubber does deteriorate over time. The boat should be checked and perhaps some minor recommissioning work completed such as the engine service and hoses and generator connected up to the vessel if required to be used on rivers or sea etc as she has just been a dwelling in her time from build. Given all that that she is realistically offered as a light recommissioning vessel that is exceptionally well built, very well equipped and appears to be in very good order. She has no gas system aboard and was bult as all electric thus the large 7.8kva fitted generator. The company that built her specialized in stainless steel fabrication and I can honestly say I have never seen such high quality tanks and calorifier ever fitted to a boat! the scale and workmanship appears to be first rate and of ultra heavy duty construction. The hot water tank is huge for a boat! She is also fitted with 2 reverse cycle Cruise air air conditioning / heating units that will also need to be recommissioned and put into service as it is likely to need to be re gassed as they have never been used since the boat was built. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a well built and specified vessel and is effetely lightly used and fully equipped example of these respected steel vessels. Her asking price reflects the recommissioning work that may be required.
I would estimate that it should cost no more that a couple of £K to recommission her to a fully serviceable condition, however a surveyor will be able to help quantify this more accurately. She would make a magnificent cruising boat or home at that point.
She has no BSC as she has been a liveaboard houseboat.
She was last out of the water and antifouled and new anodes fitted in 2022.

She has a large bathing platform (currently not fitted) and stainless steel davits and a full Bimini canopy for up on the flybridge.
Her teak work is substantial and her side decks are enormous with a solid and well built set of full side rails and bow rails. make no mistake this boat was built very solidly for the charter market and it shows everywhere you look.
Diesel warm air heating completes the package of this fine vessel

She would make a great charter fishing boat or dive boat as well as a cruiser or floating home and is a rare opportunity to find such a well specified example

		<title>Eastwood 24 REF#350443</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 91 extra photos of this Eastwood 24 .Here we have a very nice little river cruiser made by the Eastwood company so she is very well built and made from quality materials. She has not been attended for about 18 months so is in need of a very good clean on the outside and currently looks quite sorry for herself. however this should all clean up and reveal the swan beneath the dirt build up. She has been owned by her current owners for close on 9 years and has been a joy to them . However in recent years poor health has meant they could not get to her or attend her and so she is in need of a very good scrub up. The good boat is under the grime and can clearly be seen and she is very well equipped for broads cruising. She has a fully refurbished diesel engine with the work done by a local yard a couple of years back and this shows when you look at the engine. She has warm air heating, and anchor windlass, very good upholstery and a pleasing and useful layout for a small cruiser plus a good sized heads and full shower. Being an Eastwood she was a quality build as this yard is well respected for building higher end boats. That shows in the wonderful wood inside. The one area that could do with attention is the galley window has leaks and the wood trim is damaged inside so ideally the window needs to come out and be resealed and the wood piece replaced. This is the only real issue that I could see on my photographic journey through the boat when listing her.
She is a quality comfortable boat that can sleep 4 and has tidy galley facilities. as you would expect after being left the canopy also needs aa good scrub inside and out but appears to be in generally good order with just a single zip possibly needing to be replaced.
If you are looking for a a cheap quality little family diesel boat this boat will not disappoint after a clean up. She also clears all broads bridges so the whole network is open to be cruised
SHE IS PRICED BELOW MARKET VALUE TO RELECT THE CLEANING AND ISSUE DETAILED
She has a place at a dry store yard so is lifted in and out as required and has a Boat safety certificate which expires shortly but the owners will place a fresh Certificate on her in the coming weeks

		<title>Hunton Gazelle 42 REF#350127</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 68 extra photos of this Hunton Gazelle 42 .Jeff Hunton, a passionate powerboat racer, transformed his 1984 Round Britain Race success into a thriving business crafting high-performance luxury powerboats. Starting with the 28-foot Gazelle Class, Hunton Powerboats quickly made their mark on the industry.

Requests for larger boats soon followed, and in 1990 the debut of the flagship Gazelle 42 set a new standard. It offered the same high-performance seakeeping and stylish looks, now enhanced with added space and comfort.

I’ve admired the Hunton Gazelle 42 from afar for years, watching her from across the marina near my office on a prime berth that might even be available for transfer. You can imagine my excitement when I was invited aboard! That feeling only grew as I toured her—it&#039;s rare to find a boat of this age that has been looked after with such unwavering care since she was first commissioned. It&#039;s been undoubtedly worthwhile, she really is just stunning

OWNER&#039;S COMMENTS
This Hunton 42 is a classic still in the hands of the original owners. We have had her from day one. She was supplied with twin 454 (7.4 litres) petrols which gave the expected Hunton performance. She went even better when, ten years later, we upgraded to 502’s (8.2 litres).
She has always been berthed in the Solent area so where has she been over all these years? To the south there’s been Guernsey and France half a dozen times. Brighton to the east about four times and the Helford River (Cornwall) to the west twice. As well as numerous Lyme Bay crossings for Brixham and Dartmouth via Weymouth or Poole. My most ambitious one was probably Southampton to Guernsey and back single handed. An absolutely trouble free trip as I have always done all maintenance myself with a perfect result.
Which brings me to the next point about this vessel. Especially in recent years since I retired l have covered just about every mechanical detail myself. I have also given the 12 volt system a complete revision making fault diagnosis so much easier. A technical issue out on the water has been excessively rare for me over this extended period of time. And when it has occurred it has never developed into a safety problem. All very reassuring for the serious long distance helmsman.
And on local trips too this boat makes everything so easy. If you feel inclined to cook meals are no problem with twin electric hob, microwave and a plug in oven.
My maintenance and repair records run to five A5 notebooks. Covering more than three decades they have proved invaluable in keeping everything exactly as it should be.
Longevity is a very strong point on this boat. Ten years ago, when she was more than twenty years old, the insurers wanted a survey and the report concluded that “this vessel is in first class condition, it has been meticulously maintained and no expense has been spared, any item that is suspect has been immediately replaced”. Now, more than ten years later, nothing has changed. And this should continue for years to come.

		<title>Martham Boats Judith class REF#350116</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 172 extra photos of this Martham Boats Judith class .Boatshed Norfolk are so very pleased to bring this true historic broads classic to the market. Fully restored by the current owners at eye watering cost by the original builders this Judith class 34 centre cockpit is history afloat and encompasses all that the golden age of broads cruising and the best boat building that era had to offer. This Judith class believed to be Judith 8 was built by Martham boats and she has lived at the yard for much of that time with all her maintenance and her comprehensive 2009 to 2012 full restoration being completed by the yard. Apprentices that built her originally were still at the yard and working on her for the restoration! They rarely get more special or cared for than this example of classic broads boating. The restoration was fully documented and that is with the boat with a full photographic file showing just how extensive the work was. The result is simply a magnificent vessel that is sympathetic to her original build yet updated and comfortable. Her wood glows and her hull paintwork and varnish is perfection. Her frugal diesel engine has been serviced every year in the current owners tenure of 17 years and she is a comfortable, clean, tidy, dry and spotless vessel that is admired wherever she goes. She has a large aft double cabin with the main large heads and shower en suite to that. the cabin has lots of cabinetry and storage and all the wood throughout the boat is immaculate and exudes high quality and love. Moving forward we have the cockpit with fold down sides and windows so she can pass under all the broads bridges at the right tides. Seating is plentiful in the cockpit and the canvas ribbed canopy roof is a breeze to retract or put up in moments. Moving forward is the wonderfully cozy saloon which converts to two very large single berths can sit 6 in comfort. The whole boat is oak trimmed and her solid cabinetry is superb as is the stunning headlining and the windows which all give that classic and quality space feel. The oak she is lined with has its own amazing story whuch is all deatined in the restoration file.
In the forward bow lies the modern and quality fitted bespoke galley with all the equipment you would need for comfortable cruising. Diesel warm air heating, broads toll paid for the current season, a mooring at Martham that can be available to the new owner, New boat safety certificate to July 2029 and the fact that she has just emerged from her annual winter storage ashore and maintenance, which includes engine service varnish and antifoul, to ensure that she represents amazing value and a super rare opportunity to acquire what must be one of the very best classic cruisers on the network. She has an impeccable maintenance record and history and documentation to back all that up.
She would make a stunning couples retreat but with the convertible saloon can accommodate guests when required too so is very flexible without loss of space when its just a couple aboard.
She is offered at a very reasonable asking price and has had close to 3 times that spent on her by the current owners in their ownership. If you want a fabulous classic that is instantly usable and in top order, look no further. Please also note she has a fitted all over cover included
